ENHANCED FREE TIME
CULTURE & TRADITION The name of Iceland 's capital city, Reykjavik, means “smoky bay.” It was named by the first settlers after the columns of steam that they could observe rising from its geothermal springs. Today Reykjavik has numerous geothermal swimming pools which are considered social hubs by many locals.
