DAY 2, Thursday - Arrive in Reykjavik, Sky Lagoon, Gljúfrasteinn Museum, Hvalfjordur Fjord
Arrive in Iceland, "Land of Fire and Ice." Transfer from the airport to the Reykjavík Röst*. After light breakfast, indulge in a unique spa experience at the Sky Lagoon, an oceanside thermal spa inspired by nature and local culture for bathing. Afterword, have lunch at a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, head to the outskirts of Reykjavik to visit Gljúfrasteinn Museum former home of Nobel prize winner Halldor Laxness. Admire the untamed natural beauty of Hvalfjordur Fjord on the way to your hotel in Borgarfjordur. Tonight, attend an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager, followed by dinner
*Guests that are arriving prior to day 2 or are making their own way from the airport should meet the group directly at Reykjavík Röst, Geirsgata 5, 101 Reykjavík for breakfast by 8:30 AM.
**Pack a swimsuit in your carry-on since you may not have access to your luggage before going to the Sky Lagoon.

DAY 3, Friday - Explore Reykholt Area
Spend a relaxing morning, or participate in the optional Husafell Canyon Baths* for a traditional Icelandic hot spring experience in a magnificent volcanic canyon. After lunch, embark on an excursion to the Reykholt area, with its variety of geological features such as lava fields, mineral springs, and beautiful waterfalls. Stop at the striking Barnafoss & Hraunfossar waterfalls and the famous Snorralaug geothermal hot spring. Later, join the optional Horseback Riding, where you will have a chance to ride an Icelandic horse. Alternatively, tour the stable and take a selfie with the Icelandic horse. Head back to your hotel, with a stop at Deildartunguhver hot spring. Tonight, dinner is at the hotel
* To access the baths, travelers need to walk for about a mile and go down 64 steps and back up again.

DAY 4, Saturday - Iceland's Westfjords, Erpsstaðir Dairy Farm, Dynjandi Waterfall
Depart for the Westfjords. Make a stop at Glanni Waterfall before continuing to the family-run Erpsstaðir dairy farm. Visit the barn, learn about agriculture and milking in the area. Conclude the tour with a tasting of a few local products and delicious homemade ice cream. Continue the scenic drive stopping along the way for lunch. In the afternoon, head to Dynjandi Waterfall, a wide waterfall leading into several smaller waterfalls perfectly nestled in the mouth of a fjord. Arrive and check into your hotel, followed by dinner

DAY 5, Sunday - Gardar BA 64 Shipwreck, Hnjotur Museum, Latrabjarg Cliffs
Discover the Southern Westfjords today. Begin with a stop at the Gardar BA 64 Shipwreck, Iceland's oldest steel ship, a former whaling and fishing vessel, now lying on the Patreksfjordur fjord shoreline. Continue to Sandoddi, a red beach for a photo stop. Next tour the Hnjotur Museum, showcasing the history of fishing, farming, and everyday life in the area. Conclude the day by the dramatic Latrabjarg Cliffs, hosting Iceland's greatest concentration of seabirds

DAY 6, Monday - Travel to North Iceland
Depart on a long drive towards North Iceland. Enjoy spectacular scenery during the drive. Admire views of the secluded Westfjords, snow-capped peaks and charming fishing villages that dot the coastline. Along the way, stop for lunch at a farm. Arrive in Laugarbakki for dinner and overnight

DAY 7, Tuesday -Thristapar, Glaumbær Turf Houses, Arrive in Akureyri
This morning, head towards Akureyri. En route, visit the historical site of Thristapar on your way to the town of Saudarkrokur for lunch on your own. Afterward, discover Glaumbær turf houses, traditional Icelandic homes dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries. Tour a turf house to get a glimpse into the way Icelanders used to live for centuries. Arrive in the afternoon to Akureyri, the cultural capital of the North

DAY 8, Wednesday - Goðafoss Waterfall, Lake Mývatn, Asbyrgi Canyon
Begin your exploration at the majestic Goðafoss Waterfall, named the "Waterfall of the Gods" according to Icelandic sagas. Continue to lovely Lake Mývatn, with its crystal-blue waters, in one of Iceland's most scenic areas, known for its geothermal activity. In this spectacular area, scenes were filmed for some of the Game of Thrones episodes. View the pseudo craters at Skútustaðir and the bizarre lava formations at Dimmuborgir. Afterward, proceed to the magnificent, horseshoe-shaped Ásbyrgi Canyon, and admire the Hljoðaklettar rock formations. Return to Akureyri for dinner

DAY 9, Thursday - Whale Watching, Akureyri Botanical Gardens
Head to lovely small village of Hauganes in northeast Iceland, for your whale watching adventure. The area is renowned for its large number of humpback whales. Board the boat and set sail, taking in the magical scenery, wildlife, and the diverse range of whale species in Eyjafjordur Fjord. Afterward, have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to Akureyri and visit the Botanical Gardens, which are among the world's northernmost gardens. View colorful displays of flowers and wild plants and stroll through the sections of native Icelandic and Arctic flora. Balance of the day is at leisure or choose the optional Forest Lagoon. DAY 10, Friday - Flight to Reykjavik, Walking Food Tour, Lava Show
Today, depart Akureyri and transfer to the airport for your flight to Reykjavik. On arrival, embark on a walking food tour of Reykjavik. During the walk, view the city's iconic landmarks and sample delectable Icelandic food. Afterward, attend the thrilling Lava Show, recreating a volcanic eruption, a truly exhilarating experience. This unique show is highly engaging and provides an opportunity to get up-close to molten lava, see it flowing and feel the heat. Following the show, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure

DAY 11, Saturday - Blue Lagoon
Spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, visit the famous Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral-rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field. Treat yourself to a silica mud mask and a relaxing bath in the pleasantly warm water reputed for its healing properties. Later for dinner, savor Icelandic classics at the Lava restaurant, offering beautiful views of the Blue Lagoon. Share wonderful memories of your journey and bid farewell to your Tour Manager
